Presenting ITFET work at ICONS '26

I am pleased to announce that we will be presenting our work, Energy-Efficient Spiking Neurons using Interlayer Tunneling Field-Effect Transistors, at ICONS 2026 in Chicago, IL! In this paper, we fabricate and model emerging 2D interlayer tunneling field-effect transistors (ITFETs) for use in more efficient spike thresholding and generation circuits in analog spiking neural networks. Versus an efficient silicon analog neuron implementation, our proposed spiking circuits utilizing ITFETs achieves 2.9x less energy per spike.
